Snail mail is a cute, plush snail that has a special surprise. Unroll the snail's shell to reveal a secret mail pocket! Write a note, put it in the snail shell, roll it back up and the snail will deliver it. Use this pattern to make a snail using your own fabrics and personal, creative touches. Make a single snail or make a whole gang.

I rate this pattern at the intermediate sewing level, which means that you are comfortable with a sewing machine and hand sewing. There are some small pieces which can be a little challenging to manipulate, but the instructions guide you through each step.

Finished dimensions will be:

3 inches wide (side to side)

5 inches long (head to tail)

4.5 inches tall (base to top of antenna)

You can also easily scale the pattern pieces to create a snail any size you want.
